Provides physical therapy services necessary to meet the patient, based on the clinical diagnosis, physician prescription, and the physical therapy evaluation. Works among a joint disciplinary team of physicians, nursing service, and all ancillary departments with the hospital to restore function, prevent disability as a result of disease or injury, and assist the patient in reaching his/her maximum performance potential. Providing education, establishes treatment plans consisting of long and short term goals, and progresses patient towards goals.
